Me and Peg were at the grocery store tonight picking up super when the gentleman at the cash register next to ours was ringing out. I noticed he had a cart full of food and the cashier was going through some coupons. His total started at 139 and some change. After she ran all his coupons through (most being printable coupons) his bill was down in the 88 dollar range.  I wasnt sure if I seen it right so on our way out of the store I asked him if he wouldnt mind sharing how much he saved with his coupons. He quickly looked over his reciept and said just under $50.  I'm not sure what amazed me more that this guys saved $50 or that he looked to be in his early 20's.
